I would greatly appreciate your help in reccomending a cover that will keep my boat dry! I have a 2000 Legacy and I can't keep it dry. It has a Supra trailer tarp (canvas) and every time it rains, it leaks and the boat is wet! Hard to keep it dry when the cover doesn't even do the job. I am looking to buy a different cover and would only like to purchase one that actually keeps my boat dry! Thanks a bunch!

Appreciate your suggestions

I found a guy on craigslist that was selling old nylon billboard signs. Super heavy duty. I had to trim it because it was 65' long. I pull it right over the whole boat and through a couple tubes in the front while removing all the cushions.

I just bought a bover cover from Bass Pro and it definitely keeps the water out. It comes with a bar that you prop up in the rear of the boat to make it so you dont have any low spots that can hold water, and I didnt put it in there the other day. Anyway I got home from work after it had rained all day and the cover was holding about 20 gallons of water. So its definitely waterproof.

I should've clarified, I keep it in the water on a lift at my home. So the tarp and nylon billboard options aren't the best. Thanks though. I will look into the Bass Pro option. Any other recommended retailers?

Sounds like it needs some sort of water treatment to repel.
I have had good luck using Camp Dry in an aerosol can.

Do you have low spots where water pools? Most covers will eventually leak if so. Try overtons for cover support poles - I need some too! iboats.com has nice covers too. A water-repellant treatment may work too.

Mine held water all day and the boat was dry inside when i pulled it off. The only reason it filled up with water was cause i didnt put that pole up in the rear of the boat to raise the back of the cover.
