or not to do anything about it - but I got a complaint from a user about the thread
in general, and as one of hte moderators, if a thread/post makes even ONE user
uncomfortable, it goes. Sorry - and as I said, I don't want to be censoring this
forum - it loses the value and people will stop coming.

This one, however, is a matter of good taste -- I honored the wish to remove the
post they found offensive, as there are plenty of other sites where that is not
only allowed, but encouraged. (within reason).

Sorry guys - I am doing my best here -- can't win no matter what you choose to
do or ignore.

Now I know you guys are just "funnin" with me - but do you remember what this site
was like before SC allowed member-moderators?

There was so much crap-spam and so on here, none of us even bothered to come
any more.

Keep in mind - I get nothing (but mostly grief!) for doing this -- I do it because
I want a site I like to come to, plain and simple - but I don't have to do it.

You would not like that either - for those who were around, you remember.

And -- keep in mind -- I am one of about 4-5 people who do moderate the site,
some of us are more "open" than others, but we do talk about this stuff routinely.

We want this site to be totally open, and not have to intervene, but sometimes ...

I for one do remember the Supra forum in the past. I was also going to stop posting . I support the decisions of the moderators. This forum is open to all opinions good or bad it is also spam free and wives and kids can read it without being exposed to questionable content.
