Since there's no real literature on them, was wondering if people knew of the problems to expect on a 94 Sunsport

Boats are a problem...lol. Hence the reason we are all here. Seriously though nothing I know of to be a major issue. Have a freind with a 94 and there is nothing out of the ordinary

Cool, I just didnt' know if there was certain things i should get replaced and what not.. I have had boat for 5 years and have done a gauge and sender redo, and it got a new engine right before i bought it, but now i'm thinking of getting interior and exterior worked on.

The biggest problem with the 94's is that you won't be able to replace the wood stringers in the floor...cuz there are none!!!;)

All boats develop issues at some point, there's nothing noteworthy and super common on a 94 to worry about.

So what are my stringers made of fiberglass?

Yup, no wood in or under the floor at all, i was making a bad joke...

I can promise you that your 94 is the envy of many pre 1992 owners because of the non-wood stringer thing. Rest easy that the second worst and most common repair people face is a non-issue in your baby.

I'd have to vote for blown engine...

At least the engine is modular. You can take it out without to much hassel, and work on it away from your boat. With stringers you have to pull the boat all the way apart, then climb in and out of it about a thousand times...

Ok, let's upgrade stringers to the worst...but an engine can be very expensive!
