View Full Version : Tsunami 800 drain

I'm putting one of my 800 pumps on my drains, the factory port rear pump went out... Anyway can you screw the 3/4" end off of the tsunami directly into the bag? I know it fits but will it seal?

You can put plumbers tape around the threads.

Ditto to the teflon tape, you could use pipe dope, but its hella messy.....

Yes, you can screw directly into the bag, however, might want to consider a different setup that will allow you to disconnect the bags from the pump easily when removing the bags. Plus, I think it will actually lay much nicer in the compartment sideways.

Just a thought....

Don't bother with the teflon tape, because the flange on the bag is pliable, it won't seal correctly against the inlet of the pump.


Travis, he did ultimately go with our drain pump quick connect adapter, but UPS isn't delivering the package until Thursday.
