i got an 85 supra comp and i just pulled the tank to replace hoses and clean up. i found the mufflers lol just rubber silencers is what they look like. i pulled them off to check them out and i was wondering if i could just run flex pipe in their place to make it louder.??? would it hurt anything besides my ears? i need feedback asap because im puttin it back together tonight thanks!!

i dont see y it wouldn't work, as long is u can ensure that it does not leak!

Lots of people switch to essentially straight pipe, so it shouldn't be a problem. Like edge said, just be careful about leaks.
