Carpet/Rhino liner

Has anyone taken the carpet out of their boat and had it Rhino lined?
Why did SC put carpet in ski lockers?

Not just carpet, there's a couple open vents that lets all water in from above the deck. The cover doesn't go over them, so if it rains and my boat is out, the locker gets soaked.
