Doesnt matter how much you fall and the boat cant run over 25 miles per hour....the only stipulation is you can only have 2 riders if one rider can make it there will be even a better prize. THe only thing you can use is a wakeboard, doesnt matter what kind of boat just as long as its a boat.

43 miles at 25 mph is less than 2 hours, right? How will that be cutting it close on fuel?

Sounds like there are going to be some sore backs and legs. If you are going 43 miles something treks me it will be rough water. Id prefer a tube with room for an ice chest. :)

I did half that trek from Northshore to Calhouns and it didn't take a quarter of my tank. I posted on ABC's FB Jason, I'd probably be able to volunteer my boat. Assuming no issues with school barring it.

Jason-Do all the boats start at once or are they staggered and it’s a time trial? I just started hitting the gym up and today is legs so we will see lol. I need to find another decent rider to help me out; the people that have been going with me lately just really started wakeboarding so it would be a really long day. Does Cope from the boat club wakeboard much?

it will be a staggered start, im not sure bout cope i think he use to ride all the time and then they had the twins and that took up alot of their time.

You all in town this weekend ?

43 miles? That shouldn't burn up hardly any gas. We did (according to bing.com maps) a 38 mile round trip cruise Saturday at an average of 25 in 1 hour 20 minutes and the gauge went from full to 3/4 of a tank.

Jason- Who's boat are you going to be driving? The reason i ask is if i am going to be riding who am i going to trust to drive my boat through a lot of uncharted water (for us anyway) lol. Might be doing a trial run on Saturday.

What a sweet idea. I wish i was closer I would love to see/be in on this adventure. I rode 5 miles one time and about died. This is going to be a tuff deal. Is it legal to duct tape your hands to the rope? Could be a interesting fall though.

Rance, you are already trying to shut me out of the endurance... huh????! ;)lol. Can't blame you I'm not sure I'll be much of a long distance rider, but it would be fun to try. Lord knows you won't trust me to drive the boat.

I'm down, do you want the first 21.5 miles or the last hehe. No for real, let's win this thing. Yea not so sure about driving the boat in alot of unknown water for us.

I know the lake from one end to the other, and I live in the bend above the Pellissippi bridge. I might be up for this event. 20 miles of riding could be tough, but I can drive.

There is nothing like a nice long ride in the rain, lol! It was a great time, Got to hang out with a lot of cool people for a great reason! We didn't win but mad props to the two teams that did it with one rider. We should have gotten bonus points for the beer zipline we had haha.

jasonba1

beer zipline was awesome nothing like wakeboarding at 25 mph and saying im thirsty then all of a sudden you look at your line and here comes a ice cold beer . Thanks to everyone on team human ballast Rance, Mistie, Ward, Mike, and Chris. We had a great time in horrible weather for a great cause. Rance killed it. All in all we had five boats that came out. With the 5 boats we raised 4000 dollars for Matthew Crawford. Thanks everyone.

Ill be in the gym soon I realized how out of shape I am lol Ill be ready next year....The 2 guys on 2 different boats that rode the whole 43 miles I am in shock that is amazing
