87 comp bogging down after turned off for 15 minutes

after i sit with engine turned off for 15 minute my boat wants to bog down at full throttle. if you work the throttle you can get it to clean out but it acts like a vapor lock or starving for fuel. i have a edelbroc carb also.fuel psi is 6

It sure sounds like fuel starvation, have you checked to see that your float level is set correctly? The float level might be too low. How long has it been since the carb was overhauled?

have u back fired, that can screw up the secondary blow?
