Hello to all members. I recently purchased a 1984 Supra Rider. This boat is equipped with a Ford Pleasurecraft 351 V8 and Borg Warner Velvet Drive transmission. It has only 320 hours and is in great condition in and out. My concern is the poor acceleration. I am having trouble pulling a sinlge slalom skier with two other people in the boat. I have driven many boats with the same mechanical setup and pulled multiple skiers and tubers. Any suggestions? Thnaks, Craig.
