Thought it would be neat to create a link for all of us Canadians. As for me in SW Ontario it is almost certain you will ever see another Supra on the water.

I have noticed alot of people from Ontario .... Perhaps a google map with a star symbol to locate everyone. This might be fun for everyone both sides of the border.

Has anyone recently imported a boat from the US??? The prices over there seem much lower and got me thinking.......

Nice! That's not to far from my neck of the woods I'm in Gilford, across Cooks Bay from Keswick.

This is my first couple of weeks out on Simcoe, and we have seen a few days of nice, but man does it get rough out there.

Looks like dawn and dusk seem to be you best bet!

The only boating for me this summer was on pearch lake up near Sudbury. On a 12' aluminium boat and a old 7.5 Merc. Made a plywood knee board and tied it to the back of the boat dragging the kids around. My youngest Lauren (6) was on the top of the board kneeling with both hands in the air. "Look at me dad no hands!!!!" I almost fell out of the boat laughing...... I forgot to mention that was her first time behind any boat.

Later in the week my buddy took her out on a older runabout with a 80hp tubing. You could hear lauren and her friend sqeeling in delight. Man I need the old Supra back on the water.....

Weather is getting nasty out these days... Temp didn't break 50 today, with the wind it was the first day that I actually felt the chill of early winter.

Perhaps a fild trip in the dead of winter to Texas... Fly there and drive home in a new to me W350 Dodge diesel truck.

Somewhere centally located for everyone. Perhaps a place where we can camp and ski... Has anyone herd of Long point ??? Or any other suggestions would be great.

I hope mine is finished before long. All that is left is the carpet and rear seat. Plus some mechanicial odds and ends.

I may be interested as well...and depending on how many people and their desire/ability to sleep in a tent, I may be able to host on Eels lake just south of Bancroft. Big, deep, very low boat traffic and we'll be there almost 24/7 for July and august.

Yes sir, that's the one. We are a little west of the middle of the lake on the south shore. There is also a public launch a little further up hiway 28...but the marina is really convenient (about 30 minutes of driving time more convenient.)

Cheers

Only about an 8 hr drive for me !!! I live in the SW tip of Ontario. Camping is great for the wife as long as she has her 5th wheel trailer !!! Anything near London Docdrs ???

docdrs
05-25-2011, 08:35 PM
My home is in London, I have a cottage up in muskoka. When I bring my boat home I usu go to Wildwood conservation......but I think it may be too busy there on a weekend maybe not, however there is camping there...... we could possibly do it at my cottage , boat parking may be an issue, only enough room for 4 maybe 5 boats along my dock. I guess we need to get some numbers on who and numbers of peeps who would attend.

Ptownkid
05-25-2011, 08:49 PM
I don't really think we'll get more than 4-5 boats...keep me in the loop!

I've thought this'd be a great idea for a while, and everybody needs a pink boat at a reunion!
I'm into hauling my gear where ever, last weekend of June and July 9-16 are a no go, but I'm open to anything else (pending some approval!) Not sure about the wife, but I've got a 3 yr old that would love it...Been meaning to get up to your place for a bit now doc! My cottage is 7 hours away in Michigan, so it's not a real option....Not too shy of a little camping.....
keep the buzz going...

Perhaps the pop up slide in camper might be on the adgenda this weekend. Have been looking at one for a few weeks now sitting on the fence. We have a almost new 5th wheel sitting in the drive that is awsome but a little too long to pull infront of the Comp or even worse the Sunsport(should be getting the Sunsport thisweekend).

As long there is running water near the camp area where the ladies can doll themseves up all should be good. 4-5* should be re issued as a 4-5 prop rating !!!!

Hey everyone,
I am a new member just bought a 92 sunsport, I live in Caledonia Ontario which is about an hour from Long Point. Depending on the weekend you set it up for i might be able to make it down.

I have been camping at Balsam Lake Provincial park for 20 years now. It has everything you need. It has a boat launch, a beautiful beach, beautiful scenery. You can go on boat trips to other lakes. There is usually pretty good water in the morning and later in the day, there is also a cove to hang out.

DAFF

I'm thinking the later half of July. This way all the kids are off and we might all be able to make it a 3 day weekend. I think Long point would be the best for me. That way I can pull the 5th wheel and my wife the boat with her truck.

I'd hate to ruin a good thing with her making her drive 6hrs pulling the boat, this might make her a very unhappy camper for future outings.

No offense I wouldn't be caught dead in a comp at long point! I have been there 4 times. Two times were in a 25'7" Chaparal bowrider and two times were in our 18'6" Larson bowrider, it handles waves well up to 8 footers seriously.
