Few more here- We were out at Lake Berryessa this past Sunday...amazing November weather. It was about 78 the whole day w/ 64* water temps. Barely anyone out on the lake. No pics unfortunately...was a short day packed with riding. I Finally landed my first heel BS 180 wake to wake which I started attempting back in July. I must have made at least 100 attempts before finally sticking it. Best feeling I've ever had behind the boat...no photo/video evidence though...but boy, what a feeling. Not ready for the season to come to a close...I'm going to buy a drysuit and keep at it.

Wish I could make my surf wake look like that KG, I have a hell of a time getting my surf wake shaped properly. It probably boils down to needing more weight.

You are probably right. I just kept adding weight until I finally got to this .. I think we have decided its takes at least 1200 in that corner before it is real clean, its much better off running closer to 1500 because that allowed us to run alot of bow weight to get a long pocket. We used the non-surfside sac to clean up the wash. Just played with it and did something a little different each time out.

they look pretty good anyway! a little blurred but that looks like the effect you went for.

if they have any with a higher ISO rating on it I would go for one of those next time. It would possibly fix the blur. Still pretty cool though!

Bought a Kodak Playsport at the end of summer!! That should fix the problem. I have had excellent results with it so far. Just never did get the tube back out there. Will do next year, though.

The boarder was me. It was succesful.

I have no idea what its called, maybe you can tell me. I hit the wake switch, so heels first(from what would normally be my toeside) and do a backroll with a 180 and land toes first, which would make me no longer riding switch.

So wtf is that? I have no clue...switch backroll 180? Surely the wakeworld has some goofy name coined for it. I land it one out of every 10 or 12 attempts. I usually over rotate the roll and slip backwards on the landing. This one was a success

Switch roll to revert if you're doing a frontside 180 out of the roll. Or switch roll to blind if it's a backside 180 out.
There prob is some silly name for them. But that's what I usually hear people call them.

Yea, I don't usually use non-surfside sac's at all. I run the 1100 in the back corner then 750 in the bow, don't fill it up all the way. Maybe I just need to pile up more bags, or toy with the non-surfside sac.

I come from a skateboarding background. In skating, a half cab is a fakie ollie 180. A fakie ollie is basically a switch nollie (nose ollie). You can't do a fakie ollie or nollie on a wakeboard unless you want to bury the front of your board in the water at speed and take a SERIOUS digger.

But yeah, many call it that too. So many things crossover from one boardsport to another but some just aren't physically possible. But heck, even Parks B. calls it that so who am I to argue.
