Hi, I just bought this boat yesterday and I can not find the impeller for the cooling system it is a 351 and has a regular water pump and a pump off to the right of the engine. I want to take it out today but I don't want to have any problems. The guy I bought it from dry started it and run for about 3 mins. I don't know how many times he did that to sell the boat. Thanks for any help. Tracy

The impeller is located in the belt driven housing on the drivers side of the engine.
Remove the 2 hoses and two 1/2 '' mounting bolts. Then the 3- 7/16 bolts can be removed and the pump housing split to get to the impeller. Make sure you mark the housing haves and top before you take it apart . The arrow in the pic points up if you install it upside down it will overheat.

Its pretty much done for after 2-4 starts like that. Bottom left side of the engine..just pull loosen the belt and take it off to work on it on your work bench. Buy and xtra to keep on the boat for next time. Jet
