Thanks Todd. Nope not much. It's paid for! I added a tower mirror, comptech foil rack and a new perfect pass sensor to keep the speed correct. Still have to find the time to install the new shaft, new prop and new strut so I can get back on the water. The water is 48 degrees behind the house, but I don't care. The water is calling my name and I have a drysuit. Also, will be replacing all the gauges on the dash before the summer to sharpen it up a bit.
Remember,if you are ever in the New Orleans area, you and Allison are welcome guests in my home. :)
As they say in Cajun country: May Cha! We'll pass a good time on the bayou!!!

Leaf - He simply removed the teak rail and replaced it with the same teak trim that runs around the gunnels and windshield. I mentioned removing all the teak and filling the screw holes, but he talked me into keeping some of it so we just removed the teak trim that was covering vinyl. I'm glad I followed his suggestion because it gives it some "retro".

Scott love the water lickin' the rub rail... The boat has the just landed hard in the water look.

CSUGGS. The teak looks classy and showroom new, while still aged with grace. Got to love the Supras of that era, a timeless design compared to the others...

Wish I had a good pic to share. All mine fall into resto line up. Even then the old girl is rightfully camera shy. Her new wardrobe is almost complete. Will post some before and after shots when the weather breaks.

doofus,

To do the full size, they have to be hosted on another website that is publicly viewable,
there are a lot - some use facebook, flickr, etc. But you have to make sure the
pictures are viewable by anyone, or it doesn't work.

View the photo on the hosting site,
and at least in firefox or IE, right click on the image and take the "copy image location" and then paste that into the popup when you press the add image (yellow) icon above.

Then you click the little yellow icon that looks like it has a mountain in it above, and put
the URL to the photo in there (the entire URL) -

Daff - thanks for the vote of confidence man. I really love my old Supra, but at the same time I look at these newer boats on here, like the ones later than 2000 with V-drives, and I get a little envious. But, I still like my old girl and plan to keep her for a long time.

Diggs, somebody got a sweet ride, your 21V was really nice.

I am waiting for the new 22 SSV to see what it looks like. Have heard some rumors on a total re-design for 2012??? I hope they clone the Launch 242 in a 22' model, really like the layout of that boat.

Time will tell, have already informed the wife this will be my mid-life crisis purchase!

What boat are you looking at for 2011? Supra again? You seem to upgrade every year, are you able to recover depreciation on the boat? or do you just take the hit on the wallet? I was able to get an incredible price on my '08 which is completely paid off, but my next boat I will probably hang on to for quite awhile because of the depreciation on them.
