Replacing rubrail

I saw Fmans post about installing a rubrail on his swimdeck. Thats pretty cool. Has anyone ever replaced a broken rubrail. My craked this last summer.

Ya there's a couple great install vid's on youtube. Basically remove, clean silicone, resilicone and have a heat gun and a buddy ready to help you get around the nose and transom corners....

It's pretty simple, but it is a two person job. If the insert is bad, a Supra dealership can get you what you need. If the plastic extrusion is broken in a few places you can replace just the broken parts. The extrusion comes 18 foot sections so you can cut that to any length you need -- and any Supra dealer can get you that, as well.

You can also get "flexible" or "semi-rigid" replacements and inserts in continuous lengths if you want to do the whole thing.
