Need help with one more thing folks.

I had to rush my boat into storage when I got it home in the cold weather. I did not have time to pull the stereo model number so I could research the owner's manual and how to best wire in an ipod.

Can anyone give me the model number for the stock, Kenwood CD player in a 2006 Launch 21V with a single amp?

I have a pic of the dash, but it is not real clear.

That is the Kenwood KTS-MP400MR. You can get the IPOD module with cable for it: Kenwood KCA-iP500 which has the stereo take over the IPOD interface. Kind of cumbersome, but the way to go if you want to control it from the remotes. Otherwise they sell the auxillary jack as well for just analog input: CA-C1AUX

Hope that helps.

Jason,

Thanks for the information, found the manual on Kenwood's website.

Now, I have found two cables (don't need total IPOD control via the module), the cable you suggested, which just does audio, and this one:

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_10052_iPod-to-Kenwood-Auxiliary-Adapter.html

It claims to charge the IPOD as well, but only an older model which uses the 5v charging standard. Just so happens, my 20gig is an older model, so it should work.

Anyone have any experience with the sonic electronix cable?
