Call the factory OJ-ACME and talk with the engineers. They will ask how you plan on running your boat and what you use it for and they will help you make a good decision. Asking on here will only confuse you because you will get so many different opinions. I cant help you on the speed end but I can on the low end. I went with a acme..the best mod I have ever done on my boat. Jet

Yes, its a acme..the 14x14 is your best bet all the way up to the BIG 24' boats. I got a .105 cup which is alot! And Im having problems with the prop gripping the water and torquing the boat to the driver side and washing out my wake on the passenger side. I have since talked with more engineers and they said I need to take the cup out and make it flat as possible.

I've got a 14X16 hanging on the wall of the garage. That should make for some barefooting speeds. Let me know if interested (I'll be offline for a few days - going snowmobiling)

I dont recall the acme number on mine because I call it out by the spec's (14x14x.105) rather than the number, but we know you dont want my exact prop, so you can just tell him I want a 14x14-WITH THE CUP TAKEN OUT.

I talked to the acme rep,my prop is a 612 3-blade and he thinks that is the best prop for speed on my comp, but did recommend having it cupped 30 to 45 thousanths, also he needs more info on rpm at wfo and i need to g.p.s my boat to get exact figures and since i live in illinois it could be a few weeks until i hit the water. Thanks for all the help.

Almost everyone's boat will have a different ideal prop. PLEASE call ACME, OJ, NettlesProps.com or wakemakers.com to get the correct prop info. It takes a trained professional.

With that said, the prop you need depends on your stock prop's diameter and your gear reduction ratio (1:1 or 1.123:1 or etc).

Any old boat with a 1:1 prop and a stock 13x13 3blade prop should use a ACME911 10.5"x13 3blade if you are dedicated to wake or surf. 11x13 or 11.5x13 if you want to mix activities.

Unless you run a gear ratio and have a prop of larger diameter than 13", a three blade prop is generally recommended, although four blade props will also work.
