I know this is a Supra forum, but I thought some of you might like to see the last project we just completed. This is a 1989 13' Boston Whaler. We completed reconditioned the wood with 7 coats of Epefanes varnish, Complete buff and wax of hull and interior sky blue gel. New gunnel rail, wiring, graphics and new Suzuki 9.9. This is a boat for the younger boats on our lake. The reason for the 9.9. I hope you like it. Al

Brings back memories.

We have had every model whaler from a 9' Squal to a 19' Outrage over the years. My dad used to restore whalers as a side hobby. We have had over 50 of them and they will always have a place in my heart.

Dad still has a 9' tender, a 17' Montauk and an 18' Outrage.

Thanks, guys. This particular customer is very well off and prefers the classic version over a new Whaler. The owner came to the shop this past weekend and was totally amazed at the outcome. It was like "pimp my ride" we had it covered up and unveiled it to them. The look on there face was priceless. Restoring wood is so much more time consuming than gell. Anyway I am glad you liked it.
