84 Comp ts6m Prop Shaft Seal

What is the size seal I need for my 84 Comp prop shaft?

Is one brand better than another?

Probably a 351 with 1" shaft on that era. Are you replacing packing or going with a dripless mechanical seal? If mechanical - PSS seems to be the industry standard, but have heard of some happy with other brands.

Just replacing the packing. The other things I have to fix/replace are eating up any budget for a fancy new system.

It will be nice to keep water out f the rear floor boards though.
