I'm doing some measurements and want some information.

I need to know how long your Saltare AND trailer combined is. From the trailer coupling, to the end of the swim platform, how long is your older model Saltare? I need accurate numbers, not guesses please.

I'd prefer to get numbers from those on Supra trailers, or factory original trailers.

Thanks guys.

Mine is still in storage but when I pick it up in the next couple of weeks, I'll let you know.

Mine is still at the upholstery shop but I expect to get it back by the weekend. I'll take some measurements then. I can tell you the whole package sitting on the trailer with swim platform installed is significantly shorter than my previous boat was, on the order of feet, not inches. Last boat was a 21' I/O, and between the outdrive and the relatively long trailer tongue it was fairly long.

sorry...my trailer isn't factory and the tongue is fairly long.

Mine sits on a 2008 21V trailer so I assume I'm no help either.

My Saltare on factory trailor is 24 ft, or actually 23' 10in, I can just fit it into my garage. WHat are you taking measurements for? Let me know if you need any more exact measurements. Devon

Hello Haugy, I just measured my '88. Back of swim platform to nose of tongue is 28'. Trailer is right at 8' wide at the fenders. I hope that helps you out. Have you found a good looking Saltare yet?

Interesting that it's almost 2.5 feet longer than mine. I have to assume it's your Shorelander trailer.

By my 1 person measurements I get 25' 10" from tip of tongue to back of swim platform. It may be slightly shorter given I was measuring on my own and no one to hold the tape steady at the other end... So I erred on side of caution.

Interesting Titan... I just looked back through the thread and saw your discrepancy vs. Bob's. Mine has a fiberglass platform on a factory Supra trailer. One thing I notice about my trailer is the tongue is very short, it hardly comes forward of the bow at all. The whole package is actually shorter than my last boat, a 21' I/O.In any event, I'd wager the 2" discrepancy from my measurement to yours can be accounted in the teak vs. glass platform and that I had no one to keep the other end of the tape steady.

Could it also be from how the boat sits on the trailer and how the front bump stop is positioned. I think the Pirata would be the exact same in length as the Saltare..

Cadunkle - we'll split the difference and call it 25' 9". :)
