I am debating if I want to sell my '89 Supra for something newer. The Supra was my first direct drive boat and I really don't know much about the other brands so it's hard to compare. I can say that I'm not much of a wake boarder, just looking for an all around good ski/wake/cruise boat to enjoy. I know that I want an open bow, under 22' long, not red or yellow, I'm just a blue/white/grey/black kind of guy.

In a quick search I have found a couple of models in my price range but have idea which would be better.

Any and all sugestions would help.

If you're in to just cruising and entertaining people, go for a V-drive! My neighbor was a hardcore skier/direct-drive kinda guy and he gave in and bought a Malibu v-drive (either a sunsetter or sunscape, can't remember) and he loves it. It doesn't have a tower but many do. It has great wakes for every sport. Just my two cents.

I should add that I LOVE the sound of the direct exhaust from a V8 on the water.

This is probably my favorite choice...

Yeah, at that price or a few more $$ you can get a V-Drive. Go for that.

hey jmpotter my boat may be a good fit for you. As you can see in the link below everything is new. I have not listed it anywhere for sale yet but will be soon. If you have any questions let me know.

Thanks Jason

How about white with red accents ??? There are often nice v drives on this site.

What lake do you ride on ? The Supra has a higher free board and will handle better in rough water. Most towboats built after 92 have no wood so you don't have to worry about the floor and stringers.

Lake Hartwell near Clemson. The area where my house is not too rough and when it is I just go back to the dock.
