Hello everyone, this is my first time to join a forum.

Ive been looking around on this site, and i can see that here is prety helpfull.

I just bought a 1995 comp TSM6, and it needs a little TLC.

I want to start by cleaning up the gel coat.

Its not to bad, but it is prety oxidized.

What could you recomend ?

I just got finished buffing my gel coat and am pleased with how the color came back. I used 3m products from O'reilly's. Super Duty Rubbing Compound #05954 is the gritty compund I used, then 05973 was the polishing. Be sure to keep your pad wet w/ compund. You don't want to get the surface too hot. It's a workout so get ready to wear your arms out! I did my whole boat in about 5 hours, inside and out. There are some pics @ this link.

Sharp looking Comp, but I can't tell if it's dark blue or black. Regardless, the dark colors are harder to bring back so I'd definitely start with a wet sand. You can comfortably start at 1000 or 800 grit. My Saltare was severely neglected and oxidized to the point the black looked blue. I finally had to drop down to 600 (even 400 carefully in some places) before I could get down to true black. I stuck with 1000 & 800 for the light bone color.

Follow with a good compound on a rotary buffer with wool pad, then polish with buffer and foam pad, finish with a good hand wax. I won't lie, it's a lot of work to do it right, but amazed at what can be brought back.

Its all custom..DIY. fat sac holder/ice chest/sundeck w/leds & gas shocks and now the back hatch opens inside the boat instead of to the platform. Its the best idea stolen from mastercraft on the X7 model. Now plenty of seating, it holds 700ish lbs, the girls can lay out and lots of storage if im not weighting her down. Its just like a v-drive now. lol

i wanted to see what a good compund would do first .you cant reallly tell the diffrence in the photo on the white. but if you look at the blue you can tell .in person the white has a dull dry look. just hitting it with compound and some good wax brought it back to life. i didnt get to finish the hole boat. about to hours after i took this pitchure, it started to rain. i cant wait to get the sides done. they need it bad.

Get some 1500 / 2000 wet for the sides. The results will be faster and last much longer. I would do the whole side with 1500 then 2000 grit. Follow with compound , swirl remover and finish with a spray wax.
