boat lift bunks

I recently acquired an older shorestation boat lift. Its the vertical type with the straight I beams across the bow and stern. I need to purchase or make some bunks for it and I'm wondering how much clearance I'll need. My boat is in storage 2.5 hours away so it'd be ideal if I could start working on things now. I have 1990 sunsport. I was thinking of just purchasing the regular shore station bunks but I am not sure if the stock supports will provide sufficient clearance for the skegs.
