Title says it all. This is happening with such frequency that someone needs to update the forum software with a new module. Lots of options to make this stop.

A third party ... we won't get permissions to do anything besides moderate, trust me - I have asked. If you weren't around about 2 years ago when only the Skiers Choice employees were moderating, the site was UNUSABLE - as there were 100's of spam
a day - literally.

We do a pretty good job of staying on top of it now, and it's nowhere near
as bad as it was.

Remember - the moderators (me included) are just users of the site like the rest
of you --

Of course, please don't take my comments as being ungrateful, and I am 100% in favour of regular users being moderators. Forums HAVE to be moderated by people who actually use them or it's useless.

That being said, this forum is in definite need of an update (vbulletin 4.x) and reorganization...the forum categories are ambiguous and some are totally superfluous. Hell, there's rebuild threads in at least 3 locations...

Yeah, you can see by my join date that I stopped coming back into the forums after a while. It was a mess. I think I'm older member than most of the mods, with a ton less posts. :D

Feel the same as everyone, does need a new vamp and feel to it. But at same time dont wanna lose all the posts currently here and all our user names. I have seen it happen to a few other forums Im on when they update.

Unfortunately, it seems as if no one from skiers choice even uses this thing...
