Anyone Ever ???

There is a little locker above the fuel tank on the TS6M's. Has anyone cut this out of the back of the boat. I have a vew ideas on a locker seat balast system but this brace makes a new design much more difficult. How about replacing the fibreglass cross member with some stainless structural steel. Not to mention the pita it is to do any work on the fuel tank...

Not sure exactly what you mean..cut out the hole storage piece above the gas tank?? That piece is one of the strongest structure pieces in the boat. As long as you replace that structure with something else , you should be fine. Consider it a load bearing wall though. Jet

Depending on your model or year, there are several different styles of 'rear ski lockers'. Some of them pull right out. Some of them are made of fiberglass, like mine. Mine can hold a 350 sac with no reinforcement. Heck I can stand in it and jump softly and hardly any flex.

Maybe thats not what you're talking about tho?
