I have had the tower in the garage waiting for the past month and a bit. Had the boat waiting since October last year!

Planning to get the buffer out and see how clean I can get the hull in the next couple days. Also need to get the back seat out so I can try and get on top of this wedge install as well. Summer starts for me in about 2 more weeks I think. So far my lakes are still frozen. I expect that to end soon though

That looks pretty good. Seems like you fit it on there nicely and it matches up with the lines of the boat fairly well. Is that an Aerial or DIY?

Technically...they both get their towers from the same manufacturer...but I'm not sure where he bought it.

This one was sold on ebay as the "torrent" it has slight differences from the aerial. Those ones have an extra support on the top peice where it goes down to the sides. Its just a small little part, and I am sure adds more strength to the overall tower. My father in law has that one on his Sunsport. I did not find any difference in flex between the two though. So as long as its strong enough without it, there is no other benefits to having it.

Your right though, they all come from the same place in china. Once you buy a certain number of towers in one order they will etch anything you want into the name plate area. Aerial and DIY are really all the same. I could buy 20 of them in one shot and make the "stinky tower". In fact, I did actually contact the manufacturer to see about buying a few. They apparently get their production demands met with the current resellers, so no interest in my small order.

Either way, I am happy with how it came out. I think it looks similar enough to the towers on the newer launches that it makes my boat look a few years newer. The lines help hide the shape of the older windsheilds

I'm not crazy about those flat supports on the side, but MUCH better styling and build quality than a Monster tower.

the flat supports are stolen off the mastercraft towers. Pretty similar.

I am not a huge fan either. but there are very few of these towers with the round supports still kicking around. And the ones that are, they want too much money for.

I am all in to this tower for $1250 CDN. That includes the board racks that are not installed yet.

Overall I am happy with it. Would love something fancier, stronger, nicer, whatever. But I am on a pretty tight budget.
