i'm looking to replace my dead speedos on my 89 comp, but airguide (OEM supplier) is out of biz, so I'm considering going with a cheapo GPS unit, but would really like to keep the gauge look. I didn't find any speedos via a google search so can people make some suggestions?

Check with Vince at Discount Inboard Marine,(803)345-0996. He may have some of the original Airguide speedos, if not, he may be able to tell you where to find some.Brian Raymond

I replaced mine with those and they seem to work fine. Actually, clog less.

Airguide was used in all comp boats. You may be able to find some from any of the comp boat manufactures and or dealers. Some of them such as Mastercraft and Malibu used to put their name in the speedos. I would begin checking with older comp boat dealers with the black holes for parts rooms. One other option might be to find a boat salvage yard. Good luck in your ventures.

perfect pass should do it but that's an expensive upgrade for some guages

Mine are black face gauges, but I'd switch to white faces if I had to.

Perfect pass...? Sweet upgrade, but that's a couple of payments on a new boat!

I had the same dilemma with my '86 Sunsport. I found 4 new Faria electronic speedos that say "Supra" on the face (don't know which boats they were used on) on ebay last year and bought them. I was able to buy the paddlewheel pick-ups that they require from West Marine. I have two extra and would be willing to sell them rather than just hold onto them as back-ups. Let me know if you're interested and I can get you more info and a picture of them. They have white faces and are the same size as the airguides.

Hey JFP - do you still have the speedos for sale? If so, how much do you want for them? I might be interested. The lake I use has tons of hydrilla, so I'm constantly loosing the reading to my airguide speedos.
