Is there anyone at the PCM factory that is available for answering questions? There isn't anyone listed on their website.

I recently pulled my Holley and put an Edelbrock on. The new carb does not have a port for PCV valve. I wanted to know what the effect would be on the egnine, if any (1987 454).

Thanks

You can call and ask for Mark Schneider at PCM, (803)345-0050. Brian Raymond

thanks, Brian.

Mark called back and i need to arrange for positive crankcase ventilation or i'll most likely see some pressure build up, moisture, and gas blow-by.

You could always just use a marine approved crankcase vent filter. It looks like a little air filter that fits into the hole on top of your valve cover. Just a thought. My 92's PCM 351 has an inlet on the flame arrester that the PCV hose runs to. Discout inboard marine has them here.

Good luck with the new carb and keep us posted on how it runs this next season.
