Matching gelcoat colors???

Any one an expert on Supra gel coat colors? I am in the midst of a serious rebuild of a 86 Saltare and am doing some gel coat repair. The main color is Galaxy Blue and I am having a hard time trying to match it. Spectrom gelcoats offers this color but it is sold in gallons only for $270.00 per. Yikes!

I am wondering if anyone has found this color elsewhere and hopefully at a more reasonable price?

FYI for those who need to get exact matches to gel coat.

From what I understand, Cook Composites and Polymere (CCP)of KC, MO supplied Skiers Choice with their colors and gel coats from 1988-1994. Most places that match colors of gelcoat can provide an original matched color if you provide them with a CCP #. Galaxy Blue(the old dark blue of the mid eighties and early 90's) has a CCP # of 953LJ100. That's an old number specific to Skiers Choice. The same color, now called Tail Gate Blue, is numbered 954LL020.

Gel Coat Products of Seattle, WA work closely with CCP and can provide color matched GC's in quarts and gallons for a reasonable price.

I hope this helps anyone frustrated with matching original gel coat colors.
