Whats everybody's MAX mph in your supra

Im not concerned with speed.. Just curious what the different make and models and your set up and top speed

yr make model - Motor - Prop- Max speed!

86 sunsport - 351 - stock - 38mph on gps I think I might have hit 39 one time..

When cruising I like it at 27mph.. but once in a while I open it up just to blow out any carbon for couple seconds!

In the water my Sunsport gets almost identicial #'s as yours. The Comp is a little quicker out of the hole and a tad faster top speed 42 mph.. Both engines are factory.

89 Sunsport 41-42 using the speedos for what that is worth. I will get a GPS reading this year.

About 42-43 on top end with Acme #543 prop. Hole shot is awesome. I like to cruise around 26mph - good speed without using the secondaries.

Carb is being rebuilt today by an "old guy" that builds race engines - can't wait to get it back!

My old comp could do 43-44 on glass.
Mariah max would be 41.
Saltare don't know yet, but I bet it's going to feel weird with that big ole girl really moving.

This year I had the 14 pitch SST OJ modified to a double cup, not sure of specs at this time yet, but when I get a fresh tank of fuel we will test and post.

All foam removed from hull, but I did add the Teak flooring.

06 24v - 340 cat - 14x14.25 (wakeboard prop) - 42'ish though it rarely sees it.

'06 21v - 340hp 14X14.25 - 35mph at 6000 ft elevation. Usually cruise at 28-30mph.

'89 Saltare 454, 14x13 3 blade, 48 GPS in some chop. If I give it long enough on flat water and without a full crew on the boat I could probably squeeze 50.

08 Sunsport 22 V - 325 Indmar Assault - I think I have hit 42, in the perfect conditions.

My 09 21V says 48 on the gauge at 200 feet elevation. I suspect its incorrect by a few miles. I havent confirmed it with a GPS. This is with the 325HP Assault on glass.

My 87 Comp has about 250 hrs on the overhaul, and an overhauled stock prop. I "calibrated" my speedo's alongside another boat at 30 mph. My boat will indicate 44-45 mph at 4600 rpm & WOT across a small ripple.
