This malibu is what I am designing the saltare restoration after. I was in a big damn hurry to get these pics up to post the newest ones..so I didn't explain that this is not the end result. sorry charlie!

I thought so too... but... the bow rails look the same, and the fiberglass where the throttle attaches looks the same, too? I'd be amazed if it's a saltare!

actually..I forgot to add notations to those pics. The interior is based off of that malibu's interior..as well as the hull paint.

Colored, textured resin with blotches of gel coat.

Dude.. I'll be able to unsnap the carpet and take it out to clean, or/or just roll with the hard floor. Life will be great!

Ya...I'm not doing good with the waiting thing either. I damn near fall out of my chair when I get an updated pic. It's moving man...really moving. The stage we are at, or should I say left, IS:

*Hull paint
*Snap on carpet
*Interior boxes and upholstery]
*Few pieces need engine paint.
*water test.

I think I'm going to wait on the dash and a few pieces of teak wood that I wanted to paint until after the 4th.

I'll keep updating you guys...It's definately not boring! Dude, I'm really enjoying seeing this girl at the beauty shop!
