Did some searching, did not find much, seems like after you pull out the 3 face screws, wiggle the throttle unit around until you get the levers in the back lined up, it should come out, yet alas, mine wont, what am I missing... thanks

it's tricky, the levers also extend about 6-8 iches and that prevents the unit from coming right out.

if you haven't tried already... pull the rear most part of the unit away from the wall while at the same time sliding the unit to the rear of the boat. keep it as close to the wall as possible while sliding it back.

good luck

It is almost like the unit will not fit through the plywood hole, I am not sure how this is possible as it had to go through it at one point.......

Position the throttle lever at "wide open" throttle in reverse. Then, remove the screws that hold the shifter in the sidewall. Pull the upper back corner out first, and then continue to pull up and out. To reinstall, the throttle lever must be in the reverse position. Hope this helps. Brian Raymond
