So I have some underwater transom lights on their way, I was just wondering what kind of sealant you guys have used to seal up the holes I'll have to drill? Thanks

3M 5200. I'd thoroughly fill the holes, coat the screws, & goop the lead wires good so you're sealed all the way through. You can even build up a blob of sealant on the inside of the transom as a strain relief for the lead wires.

I'd use 3m 101. 5200 is forever. 4200 would also work (and is more commonly available) but, you're looking for a sealant. 4200 and 5200 are adhesives and completely unneeded for this application.

They say 5200 is forever.. but Its removable.. I used it on my boat last year to seal some things up Underwater.. and then a couple weeks ago I removed it with heat and a plastic razor blade! Also 5200 is Made for below the waterline!

This is what I used after Donny recommended it. Works great. Don't use permanent sealant.
I had to replace housing due to mix up from shipping. Glad it wasn't 5200.

Any chance you ever removed 5200 before? Its not bad at all.. Especially in small areas! Now I wouldn't do big areas with it like around the rub rail.. but small jobs Especially underwater 5200 is what is required

Its amazing what happens when you light up the water and cabin with dim colored Led's and tunes will do for ya with a bunch of drunk women on the boat.. I got a few videos' that crack me up on my phone.. Post some pics when you get them installed
