Composite boat construction?

What are the stringers and floors on the '93 and up composite boats made of?

The floors are made of starboard...as for the actual stringer construction, i have no idea...something wrapped in glass...would love to know as well.

Wow that stuff is pricey at a few hundred bucks per 4x8. Was wondering if material cost was the only reason people rebuild the older boats with wood. Granted the factory could have used better methods to keep them from rotting, but why not do it once and for good with composite materials...

this place sells what looks to be a pretty slick setup. i talked to them once trying to get some pricing info but didn't get very far. i think you need an engineering degree or something.
