Well I bought a 1986 Supra comp TS6m about a month and a half ago in cape cod for $3600 and decided I wanted to build a budget wakeboard boat.
Despite all the nay saying about the comp throwing a crappy wake it is easily fixable by throwing 6-7 people in her. Granted we are all still pretty basic at boarding it sure doesn't stop us from trying backflips, and the boat makes plenty wake for it.
All in all, after the boat I did a basic tune up ( cap, rotor, plugs & wires, oil/filter, fuel filter, and new battery) $200
Big air h20 tower $1000
Stereo: Alpine mrf-300 amp ($200), powers bass mono amp ($100), Kicker km component speakers ($170), Kicker km coaxle speakers ($90), Kicker 10" sub ($40 +spy sunglasses) Kenwood aux. input deck ($130)
Had to rebuild the rear seat frame from scratch, and rebuild the base of the drivers seat, and build the custom speaker boxes. Floor is a little spongey on the drivers side, but I'll fix that once my foot goes through it.
All in all, great deal, runs like a top, now onto the pics. Fun can still be had on an old boat.
p.s. that's me in the white and red trunks half way upside down a foot up from the wake, lol.
