Do you guys use the standard block letters or something custom?

I'm trying to figure out the font that the word "Saltare" is written on my boat, and get letters in the same font. I figured that would look good and clean. I've never been a fan of block lettering.

What did you guys do?

Haugy,

I looked around a bunch when I bought my boat two years ago. I had to change one number when registering and decided to try and match the boat decals as much as possible. I wound up ordering from harrisdecals.com. Complete set of custom numbers for about $20 delivered. See before and after, not dramatic, but better I think. (Don't pay attention to the dates on the pictures, both taken summer 09')

I did block style drip molded (3dlettering.com too). Actually OK law restricts you to block and they have to be a certain height and stroke width. I'm not sure what your laws are.

I used this place:

Look here for the pictures I took of this lettering: going on 3 years now, holding up great.

I get a lot of compliments on my registration number lettering and how it matches my graphics. This was done by Jim Jackson's sign guy in TN. I'm sure we could find out who does it - probably jasonba1 knows.

There are hundreds of places online where you can order custom graphics. This listed in this thread are just some examples. I also didn't like my blocky registration numbers and the old script Saltare name plate. So designed a replacement name plate, and some custom registration numbers to match my boat. I ordered from one of the online graphic shops, but I don't remember which one. I've included a pic on the name plate, but I'll have to take a pic of the registration number for you. I like how it turned out: inward drop shadow, outlines, custom color, etc.
