What are you guys up to this month? Here's a few of mine...

Heading to the lake...

6 hours, 4 states and 40 gallons later, almost there...

Where are you staying? rent a cabin/lakehouse for the week or weekend or something? Looks nice, love being able to just tie up the boat and head out whenever you want.

What camera did you submerge? Enjoy the lake.

I'm staying on Thompson Lake in Maine, relatives have a vacation home on the lake. Unfortunately the people who were coming with me bailed so I have no crew to ride. So just winging it. I'll be up here for a bit over two weeks. Hopefully I can find someone to ride with, but it's a quiet lake.

Camera is a Kodak Playsport. I have a thing about getting electronics wet so it was a big plunge to do the first time under water. Just watched the video again and saw a fish at about 30 seconds. Maybe I'll take up fishing.

Looks like the boat is MIGHTY CLOSE to the bottom of the lake in your underwater video - be careful of that!

Great pics - would be nice to spend two weeks on the lake. Enjoy!!

Great pics guys, glad you're all getting out on the water.

Csuggs, I'd definitely prefer to have some more water under the boat! It's about a foot from the lower point towards the front, well, my foot anyhow. haha I put in on the buoy overnight or when it gets windy/rough.

Flat water for half the day, and again in the evening. Hardly anyone on the lake all day, nobody around during the week. I'd kill for a crew right about now. On the bright side, I've probably drove my boat more in the past week than I have in the past year.

Thanks guys! The previous owner stained the teak!! Obviously they had no idea what they had. It was still stained when the picture was taken but I have since taken it off and completely sanded the whole thing down to raw wood and put teak oil on it. It looks much better now and the way it was meant to be. I also will be wet sanding it next week to get the black to really pop.

That is the breather vent for the fuel tank. Mine both have had that.

Some of the comps had the breather vent above the rub rail, that was a stainless little vent. This one is designed to prevent water from flowing into it.

What's your feeling on the Kicker HLCDs? I'm IN LOVE with mine. I haven't run into anyone that hasn't been blown away by my setup this year. Dog was our spotter. Funny as heck when I was riding. Warming up just cutting around she just put her head down and had no interest but as soon as I started hitting it hard and jumping her eyes were glued on me following side to side and would bark when I fell.
