I ordered on Thurs. and received my cables Mon. Excellent service.

I thought I would just go to West Marine figuring that there couldn't be that much difference. WRONG. West Marine > $14.00 a ft.... Genuine $ 6.40 a ft. and no tax or shipping.

I went with 2/0 and heavy wall terminals.

I bought 00 and 0-gauge welding cable at my local farm store. I think it was around $3/foot. Just as heavy, not quite as flexible. Worked great for me and I found it in red and black.

(This was only for batteries.... I had enough stinger 0 and 00 left over from various car audio projects to run starter, alternator and grounds.)

carpet really depends on what you want. i didn't find anything stocked locally that wasn't astro-turflike. then you have to start messing with shipping. i used these guys: http://inglescarpetinc.com/id67.html
they've got a good selection of marine carpet. i picked it up at a freight terminal and shipping wasn't too painful.


bdumas has the battery cable link. free shipping is nice, they aren't light. i'd suggest having them put battery terminals on the ends so you can eliminate the wing-nuts.

I also got my battery cable from genuinedealz. I got my carpet from Viper Customs. ingles looked like a good option, too, but I liked what Jim had a little better.
