I'd like to replace the center ballast pump and wanted to know if anyone recommends a certain pump I should look at. I noticed that it takes a while to fill/drain my center bag on my 21V, and a majority of the time it doesn't drain completely. The pump looks really small and wimpy.
There's one other thing I wanted to query the other owners on and that is the water that accumulates in the bow/playpen locker where the center bag is. It never drains back to the bilge for some reason and I don't have anything stuck in the hole that leads from the locker to the transom of the boat. The only time it will drain is when I leave the ramp, on the way out there's a nice hill that I can stop and go to get the water back there and drain out of the drain plug hole. But if I don't get it all it just sits there and gets all nasty over the week while the boat sits.
Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem?
