I have a 1991 comp and have been playing with the wake plate. What is the best setting for skiing? I have it at about level to the hull right now.

I believe having it level should be the best. I use my 89 Comp for wakeboarding, and I have the wakeplate all the way up. That allows the back of the boat to sit lower in the water, thus creating a bigger wake. With the plate down, you'll plane quicker, and the boat won't porpoise.

But some feedback from a hardcore skier might be better.;)

Take it all the way down then bring it back up just a bit. That seems to work best for me.
