Where is my transmission fluid going? Have added a quart and a half this year. Removed all of the hose connections, teflon taped them, and snugged them back up. All of them appear dry. My bilge is still oily from a pretty serious engine oil leak last year so I can't tell if there is transmission fluid in the bilge or not.... I assume there is? Where else could it be going? How is it getting into the bilge if it's not leaking from the hoses? No sign of water in the tranny, either! Replaced the tranny cooler last year.... so I believe that is out. I'm stumped!

tranny cooler is leaking fluid into the cooling water and it's shooting out the exhaust?

I know that's how the tranny coolers are designed to work... but mine is only a year old. Could it fail that fast?!

More than likely not...but anything is possible. I've moved passed the "it's new so it can't be that" phase now after being wrong several times, haha.

Good luck!
