What kind of pump is it?

I am not sure of hand. I could swear I remember there being a specific pump that worked well as a plug and play... I cannot find the forum for that anywhere now though...

Zach .... Walmart ... Sahara 5100 i think. Its 50 bucks and its simple.

Has anyone had their bilge come unglassed. My base is no longer attached to the floor.

Micah says this looks to be the correct one. He is going to buy one and try it out. I will let you know how it works out.

I am curious as to how this works out. That bilge pump is a bear to get to. I would like to replace mine - but am not eager to remove the alternator just to get to it!

What boat? Mine was pretty simple. With that Sahara you dont replace the whole pump. The bottom of that pump (the blue part) was glassed in. I simply pulled the cap (white part) and replaced with the new one. Had to splice and rewire 3 wires.

The 21v has very little room in the engine compartment. Smallest I have ever seen on an inboard. Quite an adventure to get to some of the parts.

The Sahara 500 fits perfectly!

Even better, This plug is connected to the old pump. It will have to be spliced to the wires of the new pump, but no wires have to be cut on the boat.
