How much to repair this?

Since I don't have the triple tow setup yet, I rely on a friend to tow the boat on this one long weekend each year. Unfortunatly this year the swim platform came in contact with something very rigid. To me it would appear to be a perfect time to ditch the hand rail for the smooth looking rub rail solution. Question is, how much is a new hand rail and the fiber glass work required to fix the platform? Worthy of insurance claim to have it all redone? $500 deductible. Thanks in advance for the comments.

well look up a parts list and see if this is something you would like to tackle ,

grinder / sand paper / glass mat and 6 oz / 10 oz to finish / resin / glass bondo / beer / sand paper / gel coat / color match / shipping / new rail / hardware / your time and labor spent doing the job ... Its not that bad buy all means , but is this not why we buy insurance ? lol good luck and if u decide to tackle it on your own , post pics !!
