24SSV Prop question

I am looking at purchasing a 2005 24SSV. The boat has the 340hp engine in it.

It comes with the 13.7 x 17.5 OJ Prop...I think part # 454. Is this the correct prop for wakeboarding and wakesurfing. I would imagine we would be using the factory ballast.

If not - what is the correct prop to be using?

That is not the wakeboard prop. Weighted down that prop will be sluggish.

I am currently running the Acme 1433, the Acme version of the OJ wakeboard prop, essentially. The wakeboard props are 14.25x14.5, I believe.

The wakeboard prop from OJ that was most popular is 14.25x14 and is still my favorite prop. The new fusion prop is 14.25x14.5 I believe, but I have always been real happy with the 14.25x14 by OJ. I have heard the ACME version that KG is talking about is good too.

OJ 14.25 x 14. 340HP. 3600lbs ballast plus family, friends and gear. Pulls like a champ! Surf and WB. Top speed 38ish.

Good fuel eff over stock prop.
