Just wondered if anyone knew why when I get up to about 30 mph this boat seems to want to go left and right? I have to slow the boat down or else it wants to go out of control. The steering wheel is hard to turn almost all of the time. Do I need a new steering box? Any input would help.

new steering cable, maybe all new depending on what you've got. i'd call www.skidim.com

you should be able to move the wheel smoothly, probably with 1 finger once you've got it fixed. i'd guess that at higher speeds, there's enough pressure being exerted by the water to move the rudder and your cable is preventing you from overcoming the effect.
