Hello, for next year I plan on adding more led's and was going to wire them into the subwoofer, except with the volume I use, It will quickly burn out the led's with too much power.

How can I remedy this? If I add a resistor to the positive wire, will it limit the amount of juice going to the lights? I am not an electrical wizard, I'm quite frankly an idiot, any help would be appreciated, thank you.

A resistor would limit ohms but not the voltage, you would need some type of transformer to limit the amount of volts going to

If you want the LED to pulse with the music, your best bet is to get an interface controller that drivers the LEDs based of the audio signal going through it.
