Hey guys, just wanted to get some advise. Im looking to buy my first wakeboard boat and just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on things to look for on used inboard boats. Ive been into highperformance boats the last couple of years and dont know too much about inboards, except that I want one! I love the fact of the amount of room and storage on them. Any info would be appreciated. Im looking to get 23'-24' for 50k-40k and I really like the way Supras look. Also if you know anyone looking for a good speed boat I have a 1991 Checkmate for sale http://s1128.photobucket.com/albums/m499/mogre33/

Thanks,
Mike

Supra 24 is def what you are looking for. 40k to 50k you are looking at 06 to probably 08, maybe 09?

The 24 has tons of space and is an all around good boat. Great surf, great wakeboard wake, etc.

Depending on what you are wanting from a boat, Jonyb is selling a clean and impressive boat. Fully loaded 24 with very high end stereo.

Yea, I have been in contact with him and his boat looks great. I told him that I will be ready to look at purchasing a boat after the first of the year. Whats an average amount of hours on these boats? I have looked at more boats than I can count (especially supras and nautiques) and have seen them range from 60-1200 hours! I just dont want to spend this kind of money to have to turn around and replace engine parts or ballast system parts.

In your range, I'd be hoping to find something under 400 hours, maybe even 300.

My 06 has around 430 hours on it. I bought it with 200 2 years ago so I use my boat more than the "average 50 hours per year".

Hours tell half the story, looking at the boat and seeing how it was maintained tells the other half.
