Hey wow covering a lot of ground here! http://www.db-starter-alternator.com...Wire%20ADR0334 here is the link to the alt I got, if you want you can call and talk to.. Ron I think. He was really smart.

For my second battery, I have them both under the spotters seat. I turned them sideways (ie pos term pointed to bow, neg to stern) to save space. Very easy to wire them together but you want to get a battery seperator/combiner, which keeps the batts seperate when using stereo so you always have a backup. When you are driving it charges both. When starting it senses if there is enough charge from main batt and if not it combines them. The cheapest model is the SurePower1314 I think you can get them w/ discount through billyates on wakeworld search SurePower his name will be everywhere and PM him. Very simple unit to hook up. Wiring diagram is on SurePower web page.

If you use aerator pumps I think they are ignition protected (double check though). Simers are not so if you go that route, I put mine under the spotters seat with the batteries. Fresh water comes in through raw water intake, then through the floor of spotters seat, then through pump, then through the wall into the gunwale where it splits to go to bow and stern.

So for the ballast... You have pump options for starters. You could go really simple with one Simer pump, or you could probably get away with two aerator pumps (one fill one drain) but this would only let you fill both sacs at once. You could fix this by putting a hand valve on each of the sacs, and if you want to surf, just close one side and hit fill.

You can use the raw water intake for your fill and drain hole, no problem. This lets you put your pump right near the RWIntake and your lines to the sacs are also short. You can wire the pump to the dash with a single rocker switch. This is a very good project!! I would recommend two aerator pumps after having using Simers. The Simer is super simple but it is real loud and it draws a lot of power and is kinda slow.

Hey bud that sounds awesome! Might not seem like a lot of projects now but she will be a whole new boat come spring!! I really am interested in the steering cable replacement and how great the 'one-finger steering' is. Mine steers a bit hard now. Also the throttle cable! Crap I just realized a piece where the cable attached to my throttle lever broke last fall. Dang! You should get us some update pics on the apholstry! Also that semi auto ballast setup you are talking about would be SUPER easy and cheap and I could talk you through the whole thing.

hey mang we are in a deep freeze around 0degF it sucks! I am trying to keep posting to keep this forum moving! Otherwise I am bored at work all day. So drop some knowledge on me son! Whats new with you?

Yeah - I'll bet you'll be happy to have your renovations done. I've been in your shoes - we built our house in 1995-96 (took 54 weeks) and we moved in before I was finished. I also spent 3 years of my life as a self-employed general contractor (licensed in WV) primarily doing residential remodeling. It's hard work. Having said that, I usually don't like to pay to have someone do something I can do myself, but I really know nothing about fiberglass so that's why I'm staying away from rebuilding my boat. If I was younger, I would probably tackle the job, but now I'm happy to leave it to a professional. I don't have too many projects left at home and I'm being very cautious of those I take on now because I know that as soon as the boat comes back, everything else around here is going to come to a screeching halt! I hope that you get your boat to the place you want it this year so you can enjoy it! Can't wait for spring!

    Hey Mapleleaf,

Picked up the 91 Conbrio last week. Had it in the water yesterday. With 5 people in it it sat very low. looks lower that yours sitting in the water. Not sure what is going on there. Anyway, Brakes on tralier were totally siezed. Took apart and the wheel cylinders were beyond help. Looks like that is all I have to do and I need to recover the rear seat and playpen floor cushion. Wake tower is massive and great to wakeboard behind.

Will send more photo's when I get a chance.

I dunno it sounds to me like you need to get into something with freeboard and a deep v. I personally would fix up the Brio and get it looking nice and sell to a slalom skier. You could sell it at the price you got it for or maybe a bit more, but extra accessories not so much, ya know? This Super Sport is in my head, it is making me think of saying goodbye to wood floors.......

99 Santera but still prices around $20k. Otherwise there's the MasterCraft 95 205V or the 95 CC Super Sport Nauti for around $15k generally but starting to drop. I am very very tempted by that SSN agggggg but it prolly wont happen this year

Well as of the last 1-2 years 95 Super Sport Nautis usually sell for between 15k blank - 20k loaded/mint. This one might be a real steal for 12k budget-loaded. It is very tempting because I don't think I will see another 95SSN for under $15k again...

LOL I work a desk job so it is all forums all day for me kinda a post whore I think. I was thinking of listing it at $10k but I could easily remove some accessories if someone wanted a lower price point.
