Thanks for the referral to Donny Bennett. Boat will be headed down there in a couple of weeks. Who did your interior? Jim @ Viper? Curious as to the right / experienced source to do the interior. Your interior is one to mimic - very nice. Approximately what was the range ($) spent to achieve that quality of a job?

I’ve been hoping someone would come to this forum that has a fast efi system. Witch system did you get ? T body or port . And has it improved fuel economy . How did you install the O2 sensor . Send Pictures.

I'm looking at 1991 sunsport about 98% gonna purchase, gotta have a mechanic go over it once then sign the paperwork and its mine.
Just wondering about your tower? Where you got it? You instill it? Have it done? Like it? Get the same again or different? Just trying to do some homework before I get one.

CSUUGS: Thanks for the update. I live in VA and see you are in WV. Did you trailer the boat to Viper and leave it? How long did it take?

I'll be sooo happy when the home reno is done!!! Works been good so we're putting it back into the house to finish it....I've got it down to trim and paint left, we'll see about the kitchen later! I figure I'll have a good chunk of change for the boat this spring and she'll be pretty goodlooking and running even better next year.m Just not sure still about buying a tower and which one.....I think for the amount of use mine'll get I don't want to spend much more than a $1000....Pretty exciting that next season you'll be basically driving a new boat!!!!! Almost like Jim built your boat and now he's restoring it!!!!!

Yeah mine is J586, so I am January of 86. I guess the five probably stands for the model, Ssunsport! I have a buddy that has an 85 Sunsport and he has the same windshield as mine. Probably half way through that year's production they ran out of the old windshields and used the newer ones like is on your boat!

Mine is a sunsport skier. I know our poles are the same because it id just the angle mine was shot at with the camera. My boat must be an earlier production than yours because the riders had the same windshield as mine. If you look at pictures of chautauquasun's 84 rider you will see the same windshield. I am going to cut those sides off to make way for a bimini top and hate them. They are purely coemetic and take up space.

We both have 86 sun sports but your windshield looks different than mine! the sides are different and you do not have that annoying long sloping trim piece! I am seriously considering cutting it off! Did you do that or was it like it is in the pictures?
