Just so I'm clear your talking about the hinges that attach to the fiberglass that hold Up the sundeck cover? It's one really big hinge that has like 6 or 7 screws if I'm not mistaken. Take a pic and upload it on your post. My screws went all the way through. Drilling isn't a big deal as long as it's a high speed drill and bit shouldn't be a problem chewing right through but before you do that grab a pic so I have a better idea
