Hi
I have 2006 20SSV
I've tried a couple of shapers that would simply not stay attached.
What or is there any that anyone is using on a 20ssv?
Cheers

I make my own custom to fit the boat not all hulls are the same the Nautique will not work on the Supra.
I use Inland Curl. Google Inland Curl at Fakebook or eBay.
Reasonably priced and tell Kevin you have a Supra with a curve hull.
Have 3 seasons on mine and has never fallen off.
There are a lot that are more expensive but my wake is smooth and long.
Is the sideboard different on 20ssv? I have a 24v with no issues with suction cups.

Did you buy name brands that would not stay on the boat?
The Inland Curl guy is a straight-shooter and gets involved to make sure his products work for you. Starts around $150-160.
If you want to spend more money, more people are talking about the curved-shapers like the ones from Wakesurf Edge - stating they have cleaner wakes. $350ish There are a few companies making shapes like this. Not sure they will stay on your boat better, but the bigger ones like the Mega from Wakesurf Edge will probably fall off faster b/c it has more force against it.
Good thing now is they are making the devices floating.
The buzz towards last summer was running double shapers. A guy from AL was building, selling. Ruunning one at the back and one by the drivers window. Surf.Mode. Had a 22 Supra and the pics and vids looked good.
NautiCurl was doing this for a few years - double-stacked about 1-2' from the transom. Also had really impressive pics/vids from a 22 Supra.
Thought about trying this next year. Just concerned about the spray if near drivers window. Maybe two at transom.
If I don't get mine just right, it does spray up on sundeck vinyl but the boat is sunk to the rub rail, so what are you gonna do?
**Also, side note...InlandCurl (using this name) is a forum member here so PM him for more info or I have his phone number if anyone interested in talking to him before purchase.
He does some advertising on social media and eBay too. I’m guessing he sells a few:

The guy that was selling these 2 device systems was asked that question. The pics on the 22 Supra did not have the spay, but he also talked about the different angles for mounting them.
The spray was not the issue on some boats - mostly newer. Depending on the model boat, that is where the letters are attached. Some boats it worked fine, some could not use that method of mounting.
Usually if there is spray it’s because it’s mounted too low. Its deceiving when you put them on since it seems like you should put it low in the water. Try moving the shaper up more on the sideboard and watch it while the boat is underway. It doesn’t have to be deep in the water to make it work properly.
